Cookies are small text files stored on your device. LegendMe uses cookies and equivalent browser storage to keep you logged in, remember your language, understand how the site is used (with your consent), and — in the future — to measure ad performance if you opt in.
Categories we use
Essential
Always onSign-in session, security tokens, CSRF protection, load balancing. The site cannot function without these.
Examples: sb-*-auth-token (Supabase auth), Stripe checkout session cookies.
Analytics
Anonymous usage measurement so we can improve LegendMe. Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
Examples: _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4).
Marketing
Reserved for future advertising pixels (e.g. Meta, TikTok). Currently unused — nothing loads unless you opt in AND we configure a pixel.
Examples: _fbp (Meta), _ttp (TikTok) — when enabled.
Functional
Optional conveniences such as remembered preferences and enhanced UI features.
Examples: Language preference, install-prompt dismissal.
Your control
You can change your choices at any time via the link (also in the site footer). Your preferences are stored locally for six months; after that we will ask again. Clearing your browser data will also reset them.
Third parties
When enabled, third-party cookies are set by the respective providers under their own privacy terms: Google (Analytics), Meta and TikTok (marketing, when configured), and Stripe (payments — essential).
